MAERSK SEALAND RESUMES TP5 PACIFIC WEST COAST SERVICE
Maersk Sealand will resume next week its Asia/U.S. West Coast TP5 service, discontinued last November.
Starting with the sailing of the “Maersk Toba” from Hong Kong on May 14, the five-ship TP5 weekly transpacific service will call at Hong Kong, Yantian, Kwangyang, Long Beach, Oakland, Kaohsiung and Hong Kong.
The resumption of the service will add about 200,000 TEUs a year in one-way capacity to the transpacific trade.
