MAERSK SEALAND/SCL REVISE EUROPE/SOUTH AMERICA SERVICE

   Maersk Sealand and fellow A.P. Moller subsidiary Safmarine Container Lines have revised their joint fixed-day weekly Europe/East Coast South America service.

   In Europe, direct calls at Felixstowe, U.K. and Vigo, Spain, have been added. The Belgian port of Antwerp has been dropped from the rotation. The first sailing from Felixstowe is on Wednesday Feb. 16.

   In South America, previously fortnightly calls to Itajai, Brazil, and Montevideo, Uruguay, are now weekly. Direct calls are no longer being made to the Brazilian ports of Rio de Janeiro, Paranagua, Vitoria and Sao Francisco do Sul.

   The revised rotation is Rotterdam, Felixstowe, Le Havre, Vigo, Algeciras, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Rio Grande, Itajai, Santos, Algeciras, Rotterdam, Felixstowe, Le Havre and Vigo.
