MAERSK SEALAND SWITCHES MORE SERVICES FROM SINGAPORE TO PTP    Maersk Sealand has announced that several of its Asian services will start calling at Port of Tanjung Pelepas, the carrier’s new Southeast Asian hub, with Singapore being phased out as a hub facility during December.
   Port of Tanjung Pelepas will replace Singapore and Port Kelang on the Asia/U.S. West Coast/Asia/Europe/U.S. East Coast/Europe/Asia SZX/AE4/TP5 “pendulum” service. Singapore will also be dropped in favour of Port of Tanjung Pelepas on the Asia/U.S. West Coast/Asia/Europe/Asia TP6/AE5 “pendulum.”
   The Far East Middle East FEMEX service, which already calls at Port of Tanjung Pelepas, will switch from Singapore to Port Kelang.
   Other changes are the Asia/Europe AE2 service calling westbound at Port Kelang instead of Singapore and the Asia/New Zealand NEZ service calling Hong Kong and Kaohsiung instead of Singapore.
   Maersk Sealand is transferring its feeder network throughout Southeast Asia to Port of Tanjung Pelepas.
   After these changes, Maersk Sealand will have four services calling weekly at Port of Tanjung Pelepas, according to the online global shipping database ComPairData. The only remaining Maersk Sealand service calling at Singapore will be its Asia/West Australia WAUS service.
