MainOcean LLC acquires container freight station service provider

The port solutions service provider and dry warehousing company announced it acquired Charleston Freight Station, Inc.    MainOcean LLC has acquired Charleston Freight Station, Inc., a company that provides container freight station services for customers at the Port of Charleston from source to destination.
   Financial details of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
   The company said it intends to maintain current operations at Charleston Freight Station, Inc., which operates with 12 employees, while further expanding services and square footage to those who utilize the Port of Charleston.
   “Clients of both companies will see immediate benefits,” founder and member of the MainOcean leadership team Ryan Sadler said in a statement. “This acquisition gives us the chance to expand our first-rate client service and industry knowledge to the Port of Charleston. All Charleston Freight Station customers will also have access to the full suite of services offered by our family of companies in the region.”
   MainOcean LLC is a Jacksonville based port solutions service provider and dry warehousing company that provides vessel services at six ports in the Southeast and Gulf Coast through its subsidiary, MainOcean Port Services.
