Mallory Alexander buys Texas NVOCC Memphis-based Mallory Alexander International Logistics has acquired the assets of 7M Transport Inc., a Spring, Texas-headquartered non-vessel-operating common carrier that specializes in the movement of household goods and general commodities.    “Adding 7M and its highly experienced team to Mallory Alexander brings new strength to our customers who need NVOCC services as well as those shipping household goods internationally,” said Neelly Mallory III, president of Mallory Alexander.
   7M will be operated as a subsidiary of Mallory, which has appointed 7M’s Vice President Steven Leff as director of business development. Mallory said 7M’s household goods division will remain intact.
   Howard Leff, 7M’s president, said of the takeover: “We saw the need to expand our service offerings while maintaining the people and high quality we’ve been proud of since the company’s founding in 2000. I’ve known Neely Mallory III for many years. This acquisition is the right fit for us, and for our customers.”
