Management Dynamics introduces NVO software module    Management Dynamics, a provider of tariff and confidential contract management applications, has issued a software module for non-vessel operating common carriers to manage pricing, contracting and compliance with new regulations from the Federal Maritime Commission.
   The new NVOCC Service Arrangement Module is a component of Management Dynamics' broader Rate Explorer application, which automates buy-rates, handles service trade-offs, manages transaction margins, and generates sell-rate quotes.
   The software gives NVOCCS two options upon acceptance of a rate quote: self-publish the rate to their tariff, or build a fully FMC-compliant confidential contract with a shipper, which will then be filed with the Commission using the FMC's Internet-based SERVCON system.
   Under recent proposed rulemaking, the FMC will allow NVOCCs to offer individually negotiated pacts with shipper customers.
