In January, the Fos terminal, mainly serving east/west trades, increased 4 percent to 47,000 TEUs. The Marseilles terminal, used mainly for north/south services, also improved 4 percent to 23,000 TEUs.
Thanks to increased oil and general cargo volumes, total port traffic in January improved almost 15 percent to 8.4 million tons.
