Throughput at the Fos terminals, which handle east/west container services, increased 16 percent to 57,000 TEUs while the Marseilles terminal, used mainly for north/south and Mediterranean trades, improved 6 percent to 23,000 TEUs.
Total port traffic for the month, including roll-on/roll-off and conventional cargoes, was up 14.9 percent to 1.37 million tons.
