Martinez joins Global Aero Logistics board

Randy Martinez, former chief executive officer of World Air Holdings Inc., has been appointed as a non-executive director of Global Aero Logistics Inc., which acquired World Air in August in a deal worth about $315 million.

   Global is now the parent company of ATA Airlines Inc., World Airways Inc. and North American Airlines Inc.

   Martinez joined World Airways in October 1998 after a 21-year career with the U.S. Air Force. He became CEO of the airline in April 2004 and was named CEO of World Air Holdings when it was created in January 2005.
