Mason takes over as head of DP World’s U.K. terminals

Mason takes over as head of DP World’s U.K. terminals Campbell Mason has officially started as managing director for Dubai Ports World’s jointly owned container terminals in the United Kingdom, Southampton Container Terminals (SCT) and Tilbury Container Services (TCS), following his appointment in December.
   Mason was DP World’s executive director for South East Asia and Russia based in Manila. He joined the Dubai state-owned company when it took over P&O Ports earlier this year, having been with the British port operator since 1995.
   At SCT, the U.K.’s second-largest container terminal, Mason replaces Patrick Walters who has taken on the role of deputy regional director for Europe and North West Africa region for DP World.
   DP World gained shared ownership of the two terminals with its P&O acquisition, and jointly owns SCT with Associated British Ports, while the same two companies share TCS with Forth Ports.
