Masson was president and chief executive officer of the Trois-Rivi'res Port Authority. He will take up his new position Sept. 6, replacing Normand Fillion, who will retire July 31.
Masson was chairman of the Association of Canadian Port Authorities in 2003 and is still a director of the St. Lawrence Economic Development Council. He is also a representative of Canadian ports on the St. Lawrence River on the Quebec marine industry forum of the Minist're des Transports du Qu'bec.
