MATTHEW WEE NAMED ASIA-PACIFIC MANAGER AT EMERY

MATTHEW WEE NAMED ASIA-PACIFIC MANAGER AT EMERY    Emery Worldwide, the U.S.-based air and ocean freight forwarder, has appointed Matthew Wee as operations manager of ocean services in Asia Pacific.
   Wee will be responsible for overseeing the expansion of Emery’s ocean freight business in Asia and the Pacific Rim, which includes more than 55 offices and agent locations across the region.
   He will also be responsible for managing operations and compliance, pricing and bids, as well as implementing measures to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
   Prior to joining Emery, Wee served as the seafreight operations manager at Schenker International where he was responsible for its operations and customer service departments.
