Pennsylvania-based Matthews International has started a new division of its company, Matthews Supply Chain Automation.
The division encompass two established branches, Matthews Marking Products and Holjeron, and two recently acquired companies, Innovative Picking Technologies, Inc. (IPTI) and Lightning Pick Technologies.
The combination of these companies will allow the new unit to offer integrated technology that covers the supply chain from manufacturing to order fulfillment. The goal is to provide more unified systems that can improve productivity, cost efficiency, and goods traceability across production, warehousing, and distribution operations.
