Mc-Kinney Moller retires from Odense Steel Shipyard
Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller, senior partner of the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group, has retired as chairman of the group’s Odense Steel Shipyard in Denmark, due to age.
Jess S'derberg, a board member of A.P. Moller-Maersk will replace Moller as chairman of the shipyard.
Moller, in his 90s, has been winding down his involvement in the group’s companies since his retirement as chairman of the group in 2003. He first became chairman of the group and the shipyard after the death of his father and company founder, Arnold Peter Moller, in 1965.
