McLeod Software branches out to LTL market

McLeod Software branches out to LTL market    McLeod Software, which provides dispatch and operations management software for more than 400 trucking companies, now offers similar capability to the less-than-truckload market through its recent acquisition of Enterprise Information Solutions.
   Birmingham, Ala.-based McLeod said it is integrating the EIS software into its flagship LoadMaster management system to allow customers to support TL, LTL or both operations within the same enterprise.
   McLeod also offers software that helps shippers procure trucking services. Private fleets also use its dispatch system.
