McNabb takes command of AMC
U.S. Air Force Gen. Duncan J. McNabb took command of the Air Mobility Command Oct. 14.
AMC, a unit of the military’s Transportation Command, is responsible for providing global mobility and sustainment to America’s armed forces. The command also provides humanitarian relief and aeromedical evacuation services.
McNabb has held various squadron, group and wing command positions within AMC. He commanded the Tanker Airlift Control Center at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois for about two years in the late 1990s.
