Melton Logistics becomes Conexus

   Melton Logistics of Tulsa, Okla., a non-asset based third-party logistics company said this week it is rebranding itself as Conexus.
   Conexus will continue to operate the existing Melton locations under the same leadership. The company was established in 2003 with a focus on the flatbed and step-deck business, but shifted to warehousing, inventory and distribution services in 2010. Conexus now also offers truckload, less-than-truckload, temperature-controlled, intermodal, and specialized freight services. The company operates a 30,000-square-foot warehouse distribution center in Laredo, Texas.
   Conexus said the name change is to reflect its mission of bringing together customers and trusted carriers, and that it comes on the heels of its most profitable years. The new website is conexuslogistics.com.
