MERCEDES SIGNS LEASE WITH PORT OF BALTIMORE
Mercedes-Benz USA has agreed to lease property on the Dundalk Marine Terminal in Baltimore from the Maryland Port Administration.
The 10-year contract, with two 10-year renewal options, guarantees that a minimum of 280,500 Mercedes-Benz vehicles will come through the Port of Baltimore in a decade’s time, said Lisa Grant, a spokesperson for the port administration.
This is the first time the Maryland Port Administration has leased acreage on the Dundalk terminal directly to a car manufacturer.
