MercuryGate adds analytics platform to TMS

The transportation management software (TMS) provider recently unveiled a new embedded analytics business intelligence tool designed to help users better utilize the data generated by MercuryGate’s system.    Transportation management software (TMS) provider MercuryGate International, Inc. on Monday unveiled a new embedded analytics platform called MercuryMaestro that is designed to help TMS users take raw data created by the system and turn it into decision-making insights.
   The business intelligence tool, released at the company’s user conference, is aimed at helping MercuryGate TMS users better leverage the data generated in the system using a visual presentation that makes it easier to understand the value of that data, the company said in a statement.
   “The new platform also makes it easy to identify data relationships, trends, and search out exceptions allowing the ability to easily perform functions that previously required extensive data extractions and time-consuming spreadsheets,” MercuryGate said.
   MercuryGate Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder Monica Wooden said in a statement that the tool allows users to better understand “what that data is telling you, its relationships, and being able to leverage the insights that data provides to drive strategic, proactive decision-making.”
   Wooden laid out the case for how embedded analytics and enhanced data science is changing supply chain technology at an SMC³ conference earlier this year.
