MercuryGate integrates LoadPay carrier payment tool

The TMS provider has integrated LoadPay into its platform, which allows 3PLs, brokers and shippers to schedule automated payments to carriers, while offering the PayMeNow option, a fast payment solution for carriers that elect to receive funds quicker.

The transportation management system (TMS) provider MercuryGate said at its user conference in New Orleans Monday that it has integrated a new freight payment product into its platform.
The product, called LoadPay, allows third-party logistics providers (3PLs), brokers and shippers to schedule automated payments to carriers, while offering the option of PayMeNow, a quick payment solution for carriers that elect to receive funds more rapidly.
The payment platform was developed by Truckstop.com, known for its load board and other transportation technologies.
“MercuryGate strives to be an enabler of success for all parties within the supply chain,” MercuryGate CEO Monica Wooden said. “Carriers often struggle with cash flow issues due to the inefficiencies of the historic industry payment model. Brokers, 3PLs and shippers need a turnkey and secure solution to pay carriers and reduce fraud risk. LoadPay solves these universal issues.”
LoadPay will be integrated within MercuryGate, with customers able to schedule and automate payments from within the TMS to facilitate all invoices and accounts payables.
“LoadPay resolves numerous, long-standing, industry challenges, and will revolutionize the payment process within the transportation industry,” LoadPay General Manager Farid Zaffar said. “The partnership betweenTruckstop.com and MercuryGate will be a major catalyst to that end.”
