Meridian IQ takes on U.S. operations of GPS Logistics    Meridian IQ, a provider of transportation management software, has acquired GPS USA, the U.S. division of GPS Logistics, a Hong Kong-based provider of logistics services.
   GPS USA and Yellow Global, the transportation management unit of Meridian IQ, will be combined under the name Yellow GPS.
   “This new partnership is a natural outgrowth of the relationship Yellow Global already has with GPS Logistics, its agent partner in handling goods between the U.S., the United Kingdom, and Asia,” said Jim Ritchie, president and chief executive officer of Meridian IQ, which is based in Overland Park, Kansas.
   Meridian IQ is a subsidiary of Yellow Corp., a holding company that also comprises Yellow Transportation and Yellow Technologies.
