Miami-Dade officials switch emphasis to AirCargo Americas
With the SeaCargo Americas conference successfully completed, the World Trade Center Miami and the Miami-Dade Aviation Department are switching their focus to the upcoming AirCargo Americas, the more-established local transportation conference created by the local Miami aviation community.
AirCargo Americas, scheduled for Nov. 7-9, is expected to attract more than 3,000 international aviation and business executives from some 70 countries. Officials estimate the 2006 AirCargo Americas generated more than $87 million in actual and projected sales reported by exhibitors, and contributed $2.6 million to the local economy.
