Miami FDA notes holiday hours Monday
The Miami office of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration will be processing perishables entries on a limited basis Monday January 15, when the main office will be closed for the Martin Luther King federal holiday.
The FDA will conduct electronic entry reviews on January 13, 14, and 15 on perishable entries that receive 'FDA review' prior to 9:30 a.m. each morning.
That will include reviews for fresh seafood, fruits and vegetable imports with electronically filed documentation. Hard copy documents will not be accepted.
