Miami State of the Ports session set The annual Miami 'State of the Ports' briefing, one of the major events of the year for the shipping and international trade community, will be held February 7 at the new Carnival Center for the Performing Arts.
   Port of Miami director Bill Johnson and Miami-Dade aviation director Jose Abreu will each give presentations on results from 2006 and the forecast for 2007 for the seaport and airport.
   Registration forms are available at the websites for the Port of Miami and the World Trade Center Miami, which organizes the event. All reservations must be paid in full by February 1 or they will be cancelled, the registration form notes.
