Mica to be No. 2 in House T&I Committee
House Republicans voted Rep. John Mica of Florida to be the ranking member of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee in the new Congress. Rep. Jim Oberstar, D-Minn., will be the new chairman.
Mica has chaired the Aviation Subcommittee.
Transportation and Infrastructure has been led by Don Young, R-Alaska.
