Under a multiyear pact, Ryder will handle the inbound transportation of MicroFridge products from ports of entry in San Diego and Long Beach, Calif., to distribution centers managed by Ryder in Los Angeles and Atlanta.
In addition, Ryder will develop and manage a Web-enabled outbound transportation, carrier and procurement network customized for MicroFridge, with 'last mile' services, including installation, to hotel chains and university dormitories nationwide.
