Mineta, who announced his resignation June 23, will join the Washington office of the public relations company Hill & Knowlton as vice chairman on July 24. He will report to Hill & Knowlton chairman and chief executive officer Paul Taaffe.
Hill & Knowlton, one of the world’s biggest public relations companies, is owned by British advertising firm WPP Group PLC.
