MIT creates logistics research network

MIT creates logistics research network The Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Center for Transportation and Logistics has created an international alliance of leading research and education centers dedicated to the development of supply chain and logistics excellence.
   In addition to the center in Cambridge, Mass. the university said the Global SCALE (Supply Chain and Logistics Excellence) Network will include the Zaragoza Logistics Center in Zaragoza, Spain; and the Center for Latin-American Logistics Innovation in Bogot', Colombia. There are plans to add centers in Asia and Africa.
   The university said the network will allow faculty, researchers, students and affiliated companies from the centers to pool expertise and collaborate on projects.
