Mitchells & Butlers awards alcohol distribution contract to Tradeteam
Mitchells & Butlers, an operator of pubs and restaurants in the United Kingdom, has awarded a contract worth about '60 million ($104 million) to Tradeteam will provide warehousing and distribution for beers, ciders, wines and spirits.
Tradeteam is a subsidiary of Exel, recently purchased by Deutsche Post World Net and being absorbed into DHL.
Tradeteam will distribute to more than 1,900 Mitchells & Butlers outlets across the United Kingdom from its network of more than 30 depots. In addition, Tradeteam will replenish and control stocks as well as provide a telephone helpline service.
