Mohawk starts trade consultancy    Mohawk Global Logistics, a Syracuse, N.Y.-based third-party logistics provider, has started a consulting division.
   Mohawk Global Trade Advisors (MGTA) will offer international trade compliance consulting services to import and export companies across the United States.
   “Government regulations over the last five years have increased the needs of the market enough to develop this new compliance focused revenue stream,” said Gar Grannell, Mohawk's president and chief executive officer.
   MGTA will also offer consulting support in supply chain management, including strategic sourcing, supplier quality and risk management, and transportation management.
