MOL continues service performance momentum in June

   The liner carrier MOL said Thursday it has improved most of its regional key performance indicator goals in June for North America operations, customer service, and electronic data interchange.
   Out of 11 metrics the company is tracking and releasing publicly, it improved or equalled its May performance on nine. The only two categories it failed to improve on were truck-turn times in its three North American terminals, and Asia-to-U.S. documentation accuracy. Only Asia-to-U.S. documentation accuracy and “U.S.-to-Asia export missed vessel connections due to rail errors” fell outside the range of its performance targets.
   MOL saw improvement in its export bill of lading completion rate. Despite falling short of its missed connection rate due to rail error categories, it improved from 1.7 percent in May to 1.6 percent in June. The company’s target is less than 1 percent.
   MOL began publishing its KPI performance on a monthly basis in February. The results are posted in greater detail at www.CountOnMOL.com.
