MOL first Japanese line calling Hibiki

MOL first Japanese line calling Hibiki Mitsui O.S.K. Lines will become the first Japanese shipping line to call at Hibiki Container Terminal located within the Port of Kitakyushu on the Yellow Sea.
   Hibiki opened in April 2005 and was Japan's first-ever private finance port project backed by a partnership including Singapore terminal giant PSA International, Kitakyushu City and domestic port enterprises. It was also one of the first in the country with 15-meter depth allowing it to handle post-Panamax vessels.
   MOL will call at the terminal on its weekly CBW service linking West Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, and Thailand. The first vessel to call Hibiki will be the MOL Acclaim on Nov. 10.
   The CBW will have a revised port rotation of: Osaka (Thursday); Kobe (Thursday/Friday); Moji (Saturday); Hibiki (Saturday); Hakata (Sunday); Busan (Monday); Manila (Friday); Laem Chabang (Tuesday); Bangkok (Wednesday/Thursday); and Osaka (Thursday).
