MOL renames liner IT companies

MOL renames liner IT companies    Tokyo-based MOL Group has renamed its liner division information service companies, Star-Net America and Star-Net Asia, to MOL Information Technology America Inc. and MOL Information Technology Asia Ltd., “to clarify both companies’ position as information service providers for MOL Group liner operations.”
   The two companies were established to develop and operate MOL’s Starnet System, initially focused on supporting the liner operations in North America and Asia but which is now the global operation system for MOL’s container services.
   “The move will also boost awareness among MOL Group employees about the companies’ vital mission, and help attract new business,” MOL said.
