MOL, Samudera to add India to Singapore/Karachi loop
Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd. and Samudera Shipping Line will add calls at Pipapav in India to their joint weekly Karachi Express service.
The KEX service uses three 850-TEU ships, two operated by MOL and one by Samudera, and will have a revised port rotation of: Singapore, Karachi, Pipavav, Colombo and back to Singapore.
The vessel “MOL Silver Fern” will commence the revised rotation when it departs Singapore July 8. At the same time, MOL said that calls at Karachi will be switched to the Qasim International Container Terminal.
