MOL starts India/Singapore shuttle service

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines is starting a second weekly service between the Indian port of Nhava Sheva and Singapore later this month.

The new “Nhava Sheva Express Service 2” will use two containerships of about 1,400 TEUs, under a space charter agreement with Singapore-based Sea Consortium Pte Ltd.

The new shuttle service will commence Dec. 23, and depart from Singapore every Thursday, arriving in Nhava Sheva the next Wednesday.

The existing “Nhava Sheva Express Service” has a port rotation of Singapore, Colombo, Nhava Sheva and Singapore.

Details of both services are available now on ComPair Data, the global liner-shipping database, at www.compairdata.com .
