MSC charges Asia/South America imbalance fee
Mediterranean Shipping Co. said this week it has begun assessing a $200-per-TEU equipment imbalance surcharge on shipments from Asia to Central and South America.
The surcharge applies to cargo moving to Chile, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Mexico, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Guatemala.
