MSC, CSAV link up in India/Europe trade
Following last week’s announcement that CSAV and Mediterranean Shipping Co. will work together on several trades, the shipping lines said they will also jointly operate a Europe/India service beginning in August.
Chilean carrier CSAV said it will withdraw its current IMEX service to Europe and join the existing IPAK service of MSC.
In the new IPAK Service, MSC will deploy five vessels of 6,500 TEUs capacity and CSAV will deploy two 6,500-TEU vessels.
Port rotation will be Nhava Sheva, Pipavav, Mundra, Salalah, Jeddah, Gioia Tauro, Valencia, Bremerhaven, Antwerp, Felixstowe, Salalah and Nhava Sheva.
