The ocean carrier has commenced the new Middle East Feeder – Loop 1 service between Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates and Oman.
Ocean carrier Mediterranean Shipping Co. launched the Middle East Feeder – Loop 1 (MEL 1) service between Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates and Oman, according to the Karachi International Container Terminal (KICT).
The MEL 1 has a rotation of Karachi, Jebel Ali, Sharjah, Sohar and Karachi. The weekly loop, which calls KICT each Monday, serves all upper Persian Gulf regions via Jebel Ali.
According to MSC’s most recent online service schedules, the MEL 1 operates with only one vessel, the MSC Lana. The containership has a capacity of 1,835 TEUs and is registered in Malta, according to MSC.
