Mediterranean Shipping Co.’s dedicated box terminal at the German Port of Bremerhaven, MSC Gate, has received four container cranes from China’s Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery (ZPMC) that can span 22 rows wide container ships.
A fifth container crane built by ZPMC is scheduled for delivery in January. The 2,000-ton cranes have an outreach of 62.5 meters and a lifting capacity of 97 tons when fully extended.
