MSC to raise U.S./South America rates
Liner carrier Mediterranean Shipping Co. said this week it will raise rates on the U.S. exports to the East Coast of South America.
The increase, $300 per 20-foot container and $500 per 40-foot or 40-foot high-cube container, is effective Oct. 25 and applies to movements from all U.S. Gulf, East and South Atlantic ports.
