MSC to raise westbound transatlantic rates
Liner carrier Mediterranean Shipping Co. said Monday it will raise westbound transatlantic rates to Canada and Mexico on Oct. 17.
The increase, $200 per 20-foot container and $250 per 40-foot container, is applicable to origins in northern Europe and the Mediterranean, and destinations on the East and West coasts of Canada and Mexico.
The notice does not apply to U.S. destinations.
