MSC to start Asia/Indian subcontinent link
Mediterranean Shipping Co. will next month start a weekly service connecting the Far East to ports in India, Pakistan and the Persian Gulf.
The Falcon service will commence with the departure of the 2,021-TEU vessel “MSC Hobart” from Shanghai Nov. 5.
MSC said the service will use six ships of about 2,500 TEUs and will have a port rotation of: Shanghai, Ningbo, Chiwan, Singapore, Nhava Sheva, Jebel Ali, Dammam, Bandar Abbas, Muscat, Port Qassim, Belawan, Port Kelang, Singapore and back to Shanghai.
