The Surface Transportation Management System will replace MTMC’s aging Global Freight Management and Integrated Booking systems.
“Accenture will draw on its extensive, cross-industry supply chain management experienc to develop MTMC’s new system,” said David Grubb, a partner in Accenture’s government practice. “In doing so, our goal is to provide MTMC with an integrated system for planning the movement of military equipment, munitions, parts and other supplies.”
