MTMC TO HOLD ANNUAL TRAINING SYMPOSIUM IN DENVER

The U.S. Military Traffic Management Command will hold its annual training symposium in Denver, March 17-20.

The Alexandria, Va.-based surface transportation logistics unit said this year’s symposium would address distribution challenges and ways to make improvements.

The symposium agenda includes two panel discussions on distribution and transformation, and technology initiatives. There will be 18 breakout sessions on transportation-related subjects, such as freight, household goods, passenger traffic, entitlements and strategic distribution management.

“This year we are expecting big numbers in attendance,” said Jeanie Bell Winslow, MTMC’s symposium program manager.

The Navy will participate and, for the first time, the General Services Administration will play a role in the agenda, Winslow said.

More information about the symposium is available online at http://www.mtmcsymposium.com.
