Murdoch heads Tradeteam

Murdoch heads Tradeteam    Tradeteam, a large U.K. beverage logistics company and subsidiary of DHL, has named Gavin Murdoch to managing director.
   He replaces Simon Stacey, who was recently appointed managing director of DHL’s Consumer Division.
   Murdoch, 41, has 17 years experience in the logistics industry, including operations, business development and information technology. He previously served as vice president of the consumer, retail and health care division for DHL Supply Chain in Japan.
   With more than 2,400 employees and a fleet of 600 vehicles, Tradeteam delivers to more than 30,000 “on-trade” outlets and 7,000 primary “off-trade” trips each month in the United Kingdom. Customers include Molson Coors, Anheuser-Busch Inbev and JD Wetherspoon.
