NASSCO makes senior management appointments
National Steel and Shipbuilding Co. (NASSCO) has promoted three senior managers as part of management reorganization.
Steve Stroebel has been promoted to vice president of material, a new position. He was director, materials, with additional responsibility for the purchasing department.
Bob Hillstrom has been promoted to vice president of production. He has more than 25 years of shipbuilding experience in production and engineering. He became director of the steel department in 2004 and has managed NASSCO's assembly, steel erection and rigging departments.
Steven Davison has been promoted to vice president, operations support, a new position. He joined NASSCO in 1995 and was appointed director, planning and facilities engineering in 2003 after holding various management positions in both production and pre-production departments. He was most recently director, ground outfitting and outfit trades.
