National Cargo Security Council meeting on radiation technologies
The National Cargo Security Council will hold a summer roundtable in Portsmouth, Va., Aug. 15-16 about radiation detection and screening for the U.S. transportation system and the associated operational impact.
To raise awareness of national and international issues, the council has also arranged a tour of the Norfolk International Terminals at the Virginia Port Authority with demonstrations of radiation screening and detection equipment for trucks and rail.
