NCBFAA ADOPTS CONTRACT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

NCBFAA ADOPTS CONTRACT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM    The shippers’ association of the National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America has adopted an online contract management and rate negotiation system aimed at its members.
   The association and CargoSphere.com, the provider of the system, said in a joint statement that the new online system is designed to “simplify the time and paper intensive activities associated with contract management and rate negotiation.”
   The Contract Management and Rate Negotiation system allows users to view carrier contracts online and compare rates and services by carrier and by city pairs. It also enables users to “conduct confidential online negotiations with carriers to their completion,” CargoSphere.com and NCBFAA said.
