NEIMAN MARCUS SEEKS RETURNS MANAGEMENT HELP FROM NEWGISTICS
Newgistics Inc., a logistics provider that specializes in managing returned goods from customers, said Neiman Marcus Direct, the catalog publishing division of The Neiman Marcus Group, would test the SmartLabel returns program beginning this month.
Newgistics’ SmartLabel service includes a pre-paid, pre-addressed return-shipping label on the customer’s packing slip received with merchandise. SmartLabel’s barcode data links the package to the customer’s invoice and lets Neiman Marcus identify the package early in the returns process. This enables customer service call centers to proactively address customers’ exchange or credit needs.
