New England Motor Freight, a subsidiary of New Jersey-based Shevell Group, will build a $13.5 million, 72,000-square-foot terminal in Hagerstown, Md.
As reported by Hagerstown’s Herald-Mail Tuesday, NEMF received a $120,000 loan from the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development, and a $12,000 loan from Washington County to assist with the construction of the facility. The trucking company leases space in the area.
The newspaper said construction of the new NEMF terminal will start in June 2007 and will be finished by July 2008.
